IATF 16949:2016 Auditor (1st and 2nd party audits)
Proposed dates: April 10th thru 12th, 2019
This 3-day course is designed for internal auditors who need to perform internal quality audits or second party audits to IATF
16949:2016.
On days one, two and part of day 3, the participants will complete an in-depth review of ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 using
group exercises and learn the tools to effectively prepare and conduct audits.
The rest of day 3 after completing the first day’s exercises, the participants will be engaged in the principles of process-
based auditing and audit planning.
Participants are encouraged to complete the AIAG Core Tools Self-Assessment to assess proficiency in the core tools prior to
attending auditor training (internal auditor competency requirements are defined in IATF 16949 Section 7.2.3). The core tools
linkages will be discussed within the framework of the course.
